Thanks to the weather, there was little show, even less bbq, and absolutely no shine, but there was tons of laughter and good times as a number of the Ottawa Mazda Club’s best and bravest rolled the dice on the weather and gathered in Vincent Massey Park for a BBQ.

The roll-call was shorter than expected with CulRidr, KabaI, Stardrop, Truth, Sypher, Becks, 007, OttawaP5, 07Speed3, efm-7, pedwar, and I. MIA were Theurgy, Jon, and a couple others who we’re all sure had valid excuses.

Early on the weather was nice, but as we started the cooking process, on grills that were designed for the charcoal age, not only did we realize that we were all children of natural gas and propane, but the weather had started to get very dark and gloomy. But CulRidr persevered and managed to serve-up four or five not too badly manged burgers and seven sausages. As far as we know, no one got sick.

We finally surrendered a little after 6PM, but a few of us met at Boston Pizza afterward to continue the festivities.
