As we prepared to head for the backyard to remove the snow that had piled-up against our patio door and basement windown, our snow removal service, K.L.P.S. Property Services, arrived and agreed to our neighbour’s driveway as they did ours. Since we live in a townhouse, we have a common driveway and both of us were running out of room for snow.

As much as we like the stuff for skiing, I hope this is the last big snow for the season. Or else we’re screwed. The pics below were taken this morning. The shot of our deck is interesting when compared with the one here.

The big question this year will be whether my new boots will fail where my Lange X09 failed — keeping my right big toe from freezing — without losing the performance fit I loved from the Langes.

We’ve signed up for evening group lessons at Vorlage starting in January, so a cold winter will certainly test the new boots.
